Our trigger kit for the older CZ 452 and 455 models has been our best selling product for many years with a total of somewhere in the region of 9,000 sold and they still sell well today! When CZ replaced their 452 and 455 rifles with the latest CZ 457 models one of the improvements was a new trigger mechanism which is different and NOT interchangeable with the earlier triggers! So we are now offering a kit specific to the CZ 457 but the original 452/455 kit is still available elsewhere on this site. Pleas be ensure you order the correct kit!
This kit includes everything you will need for DIY installation except a small hammer and punch. Two reduced weight trigger springs are provided together with a Delrin block and a small slave pin which makes it easier to hold the trigger blade in alignment with the trigger housing whilst reassembling the trigger. Please note that unlike the old 452/455 kit which included instructions this new kit does not include any instructions. There are several excellent YouTube videos which will illustrate the correct procedure.
We would point out that we strongly recommend using the services of a competent gunsmith to install this kit but w recognise that many shooters will feel capable of fitting these parts themselves. However SAFETY IS YOUR REPONSIBILITY and we can accept no liability for the installation and safe use of this kit! The correct and safe amount of sear engagement is critical to safety so unless you do have a good understanding of the CZ 457 trigger system we urge you to use a gunsmith.
