Not much remains of this Ruger 77/22 rifle....basically just the receiver! Now fitted with Volquartsen carbon fibre barrel, Rifle Basix trigger, and a stock from Richards Microfit in the US.

Something a little different here! One of our customers is off to Africa with this Remington 700 rifle in .375 H&H magnum. Unfortunately, in the factory stock the recoil was sometimes enough to cause the floorplate to unlatch and drop the cartridges in a neat pile at his feet.......not the best concept when faced with a charging Cape Buffalo! So he asked us to fit the barreled action into the AICS system, and we modified the detachable mag to hold and feed the large belted magnum cartridge.

The customer already owned the Rem 700 in .22-250 and we've fitted it with our ten round floorplate conversion and fully bedded it into a Wild Dog Tactical stock.

Our Dave proudly clutches his new tactical rifle.... a blueprinted Remington 700 action in .308 Win fitted by Border Barrels with one of their cut rifled barrels, and finished by Dave with HS Precision ten round mag and floorplate, Badger tactical bolt knob, Wild Dog stock and Schmidt & Bender scope with Badger rings and base.

This was a gentleman's retirement gift to himself ...... beats a gold watch any day! The rifle is a blueprinted Rem 700 action fitted with a Border cut rifled barrel, fully bedded in AICS stock system, Jewell trigger, muzzle brake and sound moderator, all metal parts finished in Duracoat.

This rifle started out as a Ruger .17HMR to which we fitted a Lilja 23" fluted Match barrel, then fitted into the tasteful brown laminate stock. Naturally a Rifle Basix trigger was also installed.

Ruger 77/22 to which we've fitted a Volquartsen stainless barrel, Rifle Basix trigger, and a stock from Richards Microfit.

 

 

 

.338 Lapua Magnum Surgeon XL action fitted with Border barrel and moderator.  In use the moderator was so hot after a few rounds that it was replaced to good effect with a muzzle brake!

 

This one is currently Roger's personal rifle, a Lawton action with Pacnor barrel and Vais muzzle brake. Chambered in 6BR and fitted with a modified mag in AICS system to which Dave has applied a Duracoat digital camo pattern.

 

 

Surgeon based F Class rifle in 6.5 x 284 with Truflight barrel, stock and barreled action with Duracoat finish.

We supplied this Rimfire Magic stainless steel receiver and Green Mountain stainless steel barrel which had been bead blasted......the customer supplied the stock, charging handle and trigger unit.

This customer decided to push the boat out and have his first ever full custom rifle built, and selecting the best features he could have. He selected a Lawton stainless steel action, Krieger stainless barrel and McMillan stock. As we held stocks of all these parts the gentleman was shooting his pride and joy within 3 weeks of placing his order!  We are delighted to say that he has now ordered a second custom rifle from us!

The barreled action in this one was originally Roger's own rifle but the length and weight of the Superlite receiver and Volquartsen Snake barrel was a bit much for his old arthritic joints. Roger had kept the rifle as it bore the serial number SL00001  However, Dave "persuaded" him to part with it so he could put together a rifle which "would stand out on the range"...... reckon you managed that then Dave?
