Volquartsen 10/22 Match Barrels

There are several makes of aftermarket barrels suitable for the 10/22 rifle, all of which will give better accuracy than the standard factory item. Whilst we stock barrels from a number of different manufacturers, in our opinion Volquartsen barrels are the best. We have received numerous comments from customers who have been quite amazed at the accuracy potential of their rebarrelled 10/22.

THM Carbon fibre barrel.

Over the past year this barrel has become a firm favourite with shooters requiring Match accuracy with minimum weight. This barrel comprises a stainless steel breech unit with a stainless steel liner, with a shroud of carbon fibre material which results in a black woven appearance. The chamber is taper honed match (THM) which contributes to its outstanding accuracy. We can supply this barrel in a number of formats to suit your requirements. Weighs approx. 24oz length approx 16.5 inches depending on muzzle attachments. NEW!! We are now supplying this carbon fibre barrel in a 12.5" version! Customers have commented that there is no loss of accuracy with this shorter barrel, but it is particularly suitable when a short, compact rifle is wanted eg. action shooting competitions or pest control use from a vehicle. Stainless Steel Match Barrels


Target grade accuracy from a conventional heavy barrel. Stainless steel match, air gauged, cut with minimum headspace match chamber for ultimate accuracy. Offered in fluted format to reduce weight (non fluted to special order). Supplied with an integral thirty two hole, single chamber compensator to reduce muzzle flip for faster follow up shots, or alternatively with a UNF adaptor for use with a sound moderator.  Barrels are .920" diameter and weigh approximately 3.5lbs. Length approx 18" (plain) or 20" (with compensator).

"Snake" barrel

The flutes on this stainless match barrel are positioned around the barrel to give unsurpassed rigidity and longitudinal stiffness. With integral forward blow compensator to direct gases and noise away from the shooter. Volquartsen claim to have shot groups consistently in the .250" range at fifty yards with this barrel. Our experience with this barrel shows no reason to disagree with this!! Price £390

Green Mountain barrels
We have now been selling our Green Mountain barrels for a year or so now and many shooters have expressed their satisfaction with them.  These barrels are available in stainless steel and blued steel, they are ALL fluted and threaded 1/2 x 20 UNF at the factory, and come either as a .920" heavy barrel or as factory tapered barrel both at 16" length. Even better is the price ....... just £200 for any format!
